C.Atherley in Residence

To celebrate RHS Chelsea Flower Show and Belgravia in Bloom, MG&Co. partnered with C.Atherley on a week-long botanical installation at our store.

Founded by Cath Kidston, C.Atherley is rooted in the English garden, with scents inspired by geraniums, pelargoniums and the plants Cath has grown and collected over the years.

Scented Pelargoniums

For the week, our shop window was filled with suspended terracotta pots of rare and scented-leaf pelargoniums.

Some were sourced from specialist nurseries, while others came from Cath’s own collection - a generous detail, and one that made the display feel especially personal. Layered across the shopfront with handwritten labels, soft green leaves and small pink flowers, the display brought a little of the English garden to Ebury Street.

During the week, we hosted Business in Bloom in store, an in-conversation event with Cath Kidston and Monique Lucas on sowing and growing a creative business. Guests took home our bespoke engraved plant labels alongside C.Atherley gifts.

In Bloom on Ebury Street

We were sad to say goodbye to C.Atherley’s sweet-smelling residency, and to the gravity-defying display of potted pelargoniums that brought the store to life. While the collection is no longer available in our store, you can still shop C.Atherley's new Geranium No.4 collection online and from their own shop - a soft rose scent layered with cedarwood, rosemary, corn mint and spikenard.

We're looking forward to opening our doors and hosting more in-store events this summer. Stay tuned!
